In light of my new discovery-Funny story edition

I have a funny story relating to this "holy shit I'm really eating too much" realization. The truth is, I really didn't think I was doing anything forbidden. Sandwiches have whole grains, protein and veggies. Anywhoo, here's the funny story I can really relate to now.

My friend's dad was at the doctor's office a while back and he had some routine blood work done. His liver enzymes were a little high so the doctor asked how much he had to drink every day. He said, I have a black Russian every night. Thinking... it's one drink, not so bad. Mind you black Russians are all alcohol. Vodka and Kahlua. The doctor asked how big the glass was, so the next time he went in to the doctor he actually brought the glass he has his "one" black Russian in a night. Turns out the glass is huge and he's been drinking like 3 per night or something like that. Shelby's dad then said "well dammed if I'm not an alcoholic and didn't even know it."

Ahhh, I've heard this story a few times and it never gets old. I think it's just the pure innocence of being like, well I'll be dammed. I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. I just love this story.

Sort of how I feel right now. Not that I was living under the delusion that sandwiches are the best possible choice, but I didn't think I was really cheating at all. Oh well... another day another chicken breast greens salad.

F you sub sandwiches, you will not get in the way of my life anymore. Except maybe on Sundays when it's my cheat day :)
