Losing over Labor Day!

So maybe this no soda gig is maybe a little bit sort of paying off? I lost weight over a holiday weekend. Hell, I lost weight over a weekend! Weekends aren't totally off limits, but let's face it, many of us probably eat a little bit more on Friday and Saturday nights.

On Saturday night Scott and I went to the Strannahan's Whiskey distillery for dinner. (they have a restaurant attached to the distillery.) I wanted the ribs but I told scott that he had to order them because I have this thing with ordering ribs. It just sounds so gluttonous and barbaric. "I'll have the baby BACK ribs please. And could you wheel them out in a stroller?"-Jim Gaffigan.

So I was teased for a while that Scott would order 2 entrees and a dessert for him and he'd order the plate of iceberg lettuce for me, cause you know...I'm dainty like that.

Anywhoo, I'm glad I could enjoy rib fest 2010 and still come out with a loss. Hooray for no soda. Honestly, I really don't miss it so far.

How was your labor day?

  1. I love Jim Gaffigan. Very funny.

Congrats on the loss. The no-soda was a good choice, I think.

  2. Mmmmm......ribs. Congrats on the loss and way to go on your soda-free weekend! I'd like to cut it out completely, but still give in to my Diet Coke craving at least once a week.

Well, woot. Or W00T! I'm not really sure.

Basically, I'm all proud of you for losing. On a weekend. That was a long weekend. Where you could've pigged out at Taste of Colorado.
