Body for Life day 29

Here are some numbers

4 weeks down
8 to go
9.8 lbs lost
20.2 to go

This weekend as my husband was hugging me and during it I was thinking this feels different. It felt like we were physically closer and his arms wrapped around me more. I thought it was kinda cool, but didn't say anything about it. About an hour later we were having "reflection time" and talking about our life here in Denver since we've moved from Phoenix and all the positive changes that has brought about. That transitioned into weight loss and guess what he said? He told me that I felt different when he hugged me and that he felt like there was less to hug! WOW. It's one thing to notice subtle changes, but it's so great to have someone else notice those things too!

Our cheat day yesterday was not super bad at all, but still I went to bed with a cramping stomach and feeling sick. For breakfast we had this awesome drink at our new favorite coffee shop. Shout out to Crema! It's called an oatmeal latte. It's basically oatmeal cooked in a foamy creamy latte with some udi's granola sprinkled on top. It was so so good. They also have a toast bar where you pick your bread and topping. Scott had 9 grain toast with goat cheese, sliced avocado and a sprinkle of garlic salt. YUM. I had 9 grain toast with maple butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. At first I was thinking, oatmeal and a piece of toast is not a lot, but I couldn't finish the latte and I sort of even felt sick at the end. I can't pack it away like I used to I suppose. That's a good thing because just saying the phrase "pack it away" has got to be the most dude like thing to say. Not lady like at all. For lunch we had a burger and fries a total splurge meal and for dinner we had home made butternut squash, ginger & carrot soup, some olive spread on crackers and for dessert a blackberry peach tort. Hooray for Oscar parties! Oh and I had 2 glasses of wine too. Come to mama.

4 weeks DONE! Yippee!

Goal for next week-3 lbs
