Hello blog world, nice to see you again!
There's this funny thing...called time management. I thought I had it. I thought I was pretty good at it, but it turns out that area of my life needed a little overhaul. To catch everyone up to speed, I quit my job to persue my photography business full time. That was about a month ago. Since then I've been overwhelmed with clients. Shooting at least one session a day, sometimes even 3 a day. I'm so very very VERY greatful for the business, but it has turned my life a bit upside down.
Now though, I'm intimately familiar with my google calendar and I've decided to schedule in everything that's important to me. Near the top of that list...blogging!
Full disclosure time:
You know how I was all NO SODA, NO THIS, NO THAT etc. Well, er, um...yeah. Let's just say I've had a couple cheeseburgers and a few sodas. That's not code for like 10 cheeseburgers and 20 sodas by the way. Damn if that soda just sneaks back up in there. It's just so good when it hits your lips. My working out schedule has been all over the place. I think over tha past month I've averaged like 3 times a week, maybe 2? It's something, but it's a far cry from 6 times a week like I used to clock in. All that chaos though, is in the past.
I'm going to workout in the mornings since now I don't have to be at work at 7am. It's a luxury I dreamed of as morning after morning I'd wake up to the alarm at 5:45 and now I'm going to make morning workouts happen. I started today actually and it was great. Frist-the gym isn't nearly as crowded at 9am, and second there's actually a tv playing female frienly shows. This morning I watched Tyler and the Neely's on the Food network and it was so so much better than watching the 6:00 news or football. I want to poke my eyes out watching college football. FAIL!
After working out, I came home and made some eggs for breakfast and started working. Much better than just waking up and running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
So, all in all...I have a plan now. A plan that includes scheduled workouts, healthy meal plans, working AND blogging!
Thanks for hanging in there with me everyone. I appreciated your emails and comments even though I couldn't respond to everyone. let's get this weight loss train back moving!
