Today my focus was eating right. For the past 4 days my food intake has been about a million times better than it usually is, but not 100% for the BFL diet. Protien has been hard and veggies are just not super fun to eat. Carbs however, I can do that.
Woke up today again at 4:30 for our cardio. So nice to come home at 5:30 once we're done and get ready for the day in a leasurly manner. I have to be out the door by 6:30 and normally wake up at 6:00 and it's a frantic mess daily to do everything in 30 minutes. Just not reasonable, especially if I want to make breakfast. Having a full hour is just a great way to start the day, not to mention that I already have my workout done and out of my mind.
I ate really well today, very clean protien and carbs and veggies. I know it's probably not the best to weigh myself every day, but I can't help it. Since we started I've lost 1 lb. ONE! I know this week isn't over yet, but I was really expecting to have lost 5 lbs. We still have 3 more days, but it's pretty frustrating to know you've been actually DOING the work and I'm not seeing anything move on the scale. This is where it has been helpful to have my husband do this with me. He tells me when I'm being unreasonable. He said to just keep with it and don't fret. So, that's what I'm going to do. There's no question weather I'll stick with this or not, it's just semi-dissapointing to only have lost one lb so far.
A tip with the veggies, roast them on a cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. You can add seasonings and herbs as well. I only add a tbsp of olive oil or just use cooking spray. They turn out so yummy.
